I was in tenth class. Seven periods a day; six school going days in a week. One fine(not really) day my biology teacher came to our class. As usually the class used to maintain pin drop silence not even once in a while. Everyone is busy in their work. Teacher came and stood silent on the stage. Slowly everyone became attentive and slowly every one stopped talking. At the end of that transformation, a noise was clearly heard "PO BEY..", yes that was my friend's voice who unnoticed the teacher and continued his splendid form(chatting with others). "Stand Up"! she yelled at him. "Is this a class or a Fish market !! "See students, this is the turning point of your life. You might have enjoyed a lot till now. But this is the time you have to stop all that and concentrate on your studies. If you dont get good marks in the tenth class. You will not be good for anything in this world".
This continued for several times from different teachers. All this might be infused some interest in me and passed the tenth standard with not very bad marks . Guys please let me say "I passed in flying colours". That really feels good. After the exams I enjoyed a lot with my friends for fifteen days i guess. Then there was the search for a good college . My cousin got a seat in a Junior college. I dint get a seat over there. Yep i approached them a bit late and that college was the top college at that time. However with some recommendation i got into it unfortunately. First time staying away from my parents.
Now every lecturer started to say this is the real turning point. Really??? Ok. Screening tests started in the college. At the end of the D-day i felt these are bit tougher than EAMCET. I failed to perform in the screening tests. So they decided i was fit to right only EAMCET. No IIT entrance. I feel these two years are worst part of my life with no pleasure and time to relax.
Next into Engineering. Professors started saying "the first two years are important, even GATE syllabus is mostly covered in these two years. So concentrate from the beginning. Now you have worked hard and secured a seat. This four years are going to be crucial and turning point of your life". Things were very nice in the first two years because i was out of a central jail. And then in the third and fourth year some started going for GATE and some for GRE. Most of my class students settled in a good way.
And i joined a company(name not to be disclosed). Hoping for fun, frolic, and some work. It is happening the other way with lot of work and less enjoyment. Unfortunately adding to my misery is this economic slowdown. Yesterday me and my colleague were having a cup of coffee. Here entered my Manager.
M(Manager)-"HI"
We(my friend and me)- "HI"
M-"How is the work going?"
We - "Fine".
M-"See this is a very good project. And initially in these first two years you have to show the proactiveness and grasp and as much as you can. You can see even the market is not good. This is the turning point of your career."
My colleague said "yes". And in this frustration I am writing this article. I really dont understand how many more turning points are going to come in my life!!! .

Love marriage or Arranged marriage !!!
The topic seems to be old, quite often discussed among people but here i want to write what i feel ...
Yep first of all do we need to be married ! Why the hell we want to spoil our good bachelor life during which we will have great freedom of coming late to home(most of us), Why the need to spend long hours in shopping malls to buy a single saree! Why to have unnecesssary arguements with spouse! People who are thinking in the above way definitely dislike marriages. But do all these things definitely happen after marriage. May be your spouse is also interseted in going second show movies.. So you found a new friend who can accompany you to movies. May be your spouse is also not interested in shopping! May be your spouse is very cooperative and can understand you well and clear your problems rather than starting unnecessary arguements! And may be you will be very happy with her after marriage!
Hmmm... But every statement started with "May be". So all these things to really happen do we need to opt for love or arranged marriage? Is there any certainity that Arranged or Love marriage will assure you a happy life?
When you know your spouse in before and if you already know her likes and dislikes, definitely going to help for a peaceful and happy life. But is it necessary to know your "would-be" in before? And if not is that going to ruin your life. I dont think so. Most of our parents are married in that way and even then they all are leading a happy life. Of course that was made possible with their due respect to the marriage. We can love and understand each other even after marriage. To understand someone what you need is just some patience and in somecases you need a bit more. But ultimately you can understand anyone.
Why are we making a relationship with someone by taking a lot of pain in understanding? Instead we can know that person in before and then we can decide on marriage? Definitely if you know the person in before you already should have put some effort in knowing his/her tastes.!And that definitely will help in taking a decision to marry someone or not. But can anyone guarantee me that knowing someone in before marriage, will lead to a happy life. There will be some differences obviously. God may have made 7 persons alike but no two persons in this world behave the same way. So anyways you need to comprimise at times. So why to make your parents unhappy by going against their opinion!!!
A person typically lives twenty to twenty five years in every way dependent on parents. I feel that is the half of the life. The next half people gradually people learn to be independent. Of course there is something to be learnt from elders in every part of life. And second half you need a partner who can share your feelings, emotions, sorrows, and happiness.
Confused!!! Why I am I supporting two sides?? Friends here are my concluding lines ...
To love and marry is really good but make your parents understand that she is the right person for you. Most of the people say they do not understand it!!! Guys if you really think you gave your 100 percent and still they persist to not marry someone then you can take the decision. But 100 percent effort is important. And for me those who are caring for you all these years will definitely understand if you put it in the right way.
Love or arranged marriages? I go for love and arranged marriages.
Most people say that now-a-days people are more inclined to western culture. And some say the older days were better. I feel the present days are better where you need to give a reason to your parents for marrying someone. So there is the freedom to choose but there is responsibilty with it. And also there is "the fear of the society". What these people think? etc etc...So people should find the right person to marry and they should prove that she is the correct choice.

Indian cricket team is showing the signs of becoming a World Champion.
The recent test series win against Australia and a good start in the ODI's aginst England is making me to say this? Or I am being a fan of Indian cricket, excited with the Performance of the team and saying this? I dont know !
But there are definitely some points which i feel are the reason to say that we are showing the signs of winning the next world cup.
1) A good start for any task provides the moral boost and confidence to a team and a Cricket team is no exception to that. The opening pair "Gambhir and Sehwag" are consistently giving a good start to the team and thus giving a very good platform for the middle order players. And the recent run of Gambhir is making me very excited. He already had 1000 runs in his account in this calender year. Hope this form continues !
2) A good middle order. Being a great fan of Rahul Dravid, I never thought that some one will fit into his position. But the youngster's like Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina are showing good signs of taking his place. Rohit Sharma especially is a person, i guess who has the ability to take Dravid's position.
3) A blend of youth and seniors. With Sachin Tendulkar still scoring good runs, going to play a great role in helping the young talent. Yuvraj singh with more than 200 ODI's is also going to be a crucial player for us. And in bowling we have the experience of Zaheer and some rookies such as RP Singh, Ishanth, Munaf.
4) A great captain. Hmmm.. Everyone performing well is adding to his luck. But definitely he is taking some very good decisions. Lets wait and see how he is going to handle the team in long run, when few people will be out of form.
5) Excellent Bench Strength. This is the basic reason which is making everyone perform their best. Now complacency is not allowed. If R P Singh is not bowling well, we have Munaf, Sreesanth, Balaji, Ashok Dinda an many more and we cannot forget what happened to Robin Uthappa.
So many things... fielding is improved with no one hesitating to dive. Gone are the days when Indians are known running behind the ball. Gone are the days when two wickets fell early, we go into a defence shell. Everyone is fighting for their place in the team. Hope this good performance by the team continues and may be really we emerge as world champions by winning the next world cup.
