Reservation for OC

Here is a notification:

Openings:
(Ref.No.F.1/117/2009-R-I) Seven Assistant Professors(Cardiology), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre). Out of seven posts, two posts are reserved for SC, one post is reserved for ST & three posts are reserved for OBC candidates.

What is left my friends.. One post.. For which everyone is competing ...

Suppose there are 100 posts. Now the question is: Whether a OC male person with 20 rank gets a seat from 100 posts? Then the answer will be big "NO".

Why?
50% reservations for SC,ST and BC
5% minority reservations
33% Ladies reservation

And the remaining seats come under so called "Open Category". Generally in the counselling what happens is Open Category is filled first then they will fill for the Reservation category!!!!

This is utter nonsense according to me...
According to law all the reservations should not exceed more than 50%. But slowly for their own benefits politicians are increasing the reservation percentage in most of the states.
And what is happening is people are utilizing the reservation category and the toppers of that particular category are competiting in the Open Category(Which is already reduced).

Why a state first rank holder should not utilize the reservation seat if he has it? Why he goes for a open seat?

Nowadays what is happening is OC people are becoming the real minority section.
My anguish is ...
When there are some 20 seats in Open Category. A OC person with 21 rank will not get a seat if 20 reservation category people are there infront of him!

Think of it! Do you think this is a fair thing...
What is the solution for this?
Few people would say reservation based on financial status. I feel to make this happen it will take atleast one more generation time. Is it really possible in these times where people will produce certificates overnight stating their finacial income per year is 10000 per annum.

What i feel is.. The solution for this is .. "There should not be any open category" All 100% posts should be reserved for all the sections of the people. And in that way there should be reservation for OC also with some 10 to 20% reservation.

Roddick lost but won so many fans ...

It was just before start of the match, Mr. Amritraj was saying that Roddick has to play his life's best tennis to beat Federer. I think he really played his best but God thought he was an inch away, he really missed a whisker...
He fought like a Gladiator, a human machine which is not at all tiring after hitting the serves at 140+ mph. His forehand was as usual the best and he improved his backhand shots to a great extent. Played some good volley tennis, slicing the ball, was willing to take risks and was matching Federer in every shot.
Important thing is that he fought the fifth set from behind (he was serving second in the fifth set). And serving 14 games without allowing Federer to break his serve amid high tension and loud noise from the crowd is a true fighting spirit. Federer could not able to break his serve for 31 consecutive games whereas Roddick broke Federer's serve twice in the match. I agree he lost the serve at the crucial juncture but as Federer mentioned Tennis is really a crazy game, on a day even if you are playing the best tennis one mistake can cost you the match, that is what exactly happened with the Roddick.
Of course i would say he faltered in 2 instances, one is in the second set tie breaker and the last game which he lost.
And what was very emotional to see was the way he was controlling his emotions at post-match presentation. Hey Roddick you may lost this match but you really won so many hearts and fans. All the best for the US Open.....

Hunger and Anger

It is 2 years now that i have joined this company. Sometimes loads of work and sometimes no work at all.
After the hectic schedule in office usually i used to reach home in between 8 to 10 PM. At times i used to eat something in the office canteen or used to eat 'Gup-Chup' on the way to home. Everything used to be fine these days.
The problem is when you reach your home without eating anything and you are very hungry..
Let me tell what happened yesterday...

I went to home, opened the gate and sat in a chair and was trying to remove my shoes, one shoe came out nicely and the other shoe lace is not coming.. I forcibly removed it without loosening the lace.

Throwed my ID card and the wallet in the shelf, washed my face and sat in a chair infront of the television and was waiting my mother to serve the food. Sometimes I used to eat myself and sometimes my mother used to feed me. It happened differently yesterday..
She was very happy yesterday as my uncle (my mom's brother) came yesterday and she was telling about them and there family. I was irritated and yelled at her saying i am hungry. She was silent for few minutes and then served me the food. I ate nicely then after half an hour or so i made her laugh with my stupid jokes. It was all fine afterwards.
This is the incident which made me write this. When i had something in my stomach i used to behave nicely but when i am hungry i am shouting without any control over me.
Hmmm...
Hunger = Anger =madness = loss of patience..
So what i understood is when you are really very hungry then we should eat something and go to home or else you should be double sure that you should not loose your patience after reaching home..

My Fantasies

Here again i want to write what i feel is... and here i want to write my fantasies..

1) From childhood days i used to have a feeling that whether really i will be born again after the death.

Hmmm....Will i born again? Do really god exists?

I feel like I will born again and god really exists. Some people and history says that there are 7 lifes for a human being and there is also saying that there will be 6 other persons who are alike me. So where are this 6 other people who resemble me. People also say there is a god within you. Important lines which always go through my mind are..

Do I take birth again?
6 persons just like me...
7 lifes
God .. who is he .. where he stays?

Universe... A Sun and 9 planets revolving around it. Life is there on 7 planets of this universe. Right from earth to Pluto, 7 planets on which life exists. And on every planet there are equal number of people living. And each person on one planet has a resemblance on all the other planets. So there are totally 7 persons who are alike.
When we are living on earth the people who are living on the Mars (the planet next to us ) are the Gods to us. So Ram, Seetha, Brahma, Allah, Jesus, etc are now living on Mars. In the same way there are Gods* to our Gods** who are living on the planet next to Mars i.e., Jupiter.
And a photo copy of you on other planet is a God to you.
That means we have 7 births and each birth on 7 different planets from Earth to Pluto. So we will born again on Mars once we die on Earth. So guys hopefully we will have fun in Mars too.

2) Another one..
When I do something wrong will i be really punished? Where is Hell and where is the Heaven? Do they really exists?
Definitely we should be getting these words Hell and Heaven from ancient days.

It was very long back when there were only five people living in this world. Out of five, four regularly used to go to hunting and collect the food. And the fifth person not used to go for hunting and used to stole the food the other four has collected. It used to happen quite often in the same way.
The first four persons got very irritated that the fifth person is not putting his effort to collect the food. So from the four of them, one was very clever and he opted to change this fifth person. What the clever dude did is he said there are two places to where we all go after we die. One is hell and another is heaven. If you donot put any effort in collecting the food and stole the food we have collected then you will be going to hell where you will be punished for the wrong things you have did and those who work hard they will be going to heaven.

Hmmm... It started this way and we are believing Hell and Heaven. We dont know guys, may be people who do good will be going to hell and others will be going to heaven. So moral is dont be too good and generous :)

How B Tech exam preparation goes?

Our Exam Preparation starts a week before the examination :) What we do a week before?

It was 6'o clock in the evening, Rajesh, Chaitanya and me were chit chatting near my house.

Rajesh: "Exams are a just a week away".

Chaitanya: "Shall we go to Koti".

Me: "Ya.. Its better to go now.."

We boarded a bus to koti and went straight to "Vani Book Centre", where we generally buy the books. We used to get the books relatively at low cost in this book centre, thanks to Rajesh for his good relationship with the shopkeeper. We asked for a Book and shopkeeper said "No Stock, new stock will come after two days". Rajesh asked to keep 3 books aside for us and call us when the new stock arrives. He said "Ok". Which book we were asking for?

Of course we were asking for "SPECTRUM ALL IN ONE". Without which we would have not cleared our B Tech subjects. Two days after that day we had our bible in our hands.

What next? Tear It Down!

Exactly we whittled down it to subjectwise. Rajesh went a step ahead and he further divided each subject to unitwise. So five parts for a subject. (Our major work is done.)

Here we thought we will start studying from tomorrow. But we started just before the exam. Next day is the exam. we got a call from vijay.

Vijay- "Hi ra, All in One Konnara"

(TK and me) - "konnamu ra"

Vijay- "Which Text book u have"

(TK and me)- "Text book aa..!!! Chaitanya laughing madly :)"

Vijay- "Arey ma intiki randi ra kalisi chaduvudam.. "

(TK and me)- "OK"

We went to vijay's house. It was 9 in the night. By that time he was watching TV and he did not had his dinner till that time. We went into his room. Chaitanya switched on the computer and started playing some songs. After Vijay had completed his dinner, he came to us. Atlast we thought of studying at 10 PM.

Vijay- "Arey emaina chadivara ra"

Sudheer- "chaitu gadu 1 unit complete chesadu ra.."

Chaitanya- "Arey ee saale gadu complete chesi nannu antunadu ra.."

In this way we pulled each others leg for a while (Frankly speaking i used to study a bit before itself :)..)

Me and chaitanya had first part of "All in one". Chaitanya analysed patern of exam papers and generally he used to come up with a good strategy.

Chaitanya- "Arey from 1 and 3 units, 4 questions will come. And from 5 unit, 1 question will come. I will study only these 3 units. Ofcourse sudheer gadithe anni chaduvuthadanuko!!!! "
Sudheer- "Arey nenu 3 units kuda chaduvuthano ledo ra.."

From here onwards the heat of the examination starts. We dont know anything till now and only one night in our hand. We used to discuss the topics and study sinceirely for 3-4 hours and then we used to sleep. So we used to complete 1 or sometimes 2 units till that time.

And on the exam day we study the other one chapter in travelling. So hardly the total questions we used to study for any exam will range from 35-50 questions from all the units. We get that figure because we used to study only the last years questions.

After this rigoruoussssssss preparation we used to sit for exam. And all of us used to get passed and sometimes we used to get good marks.

All this happened with the help and cooperation of "Spectrum All in One" and JNTU paper setters. Thanks to them.
